Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. This is your last warning.
The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Interior decorating, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing anyone from linking to them from any site that uses the MediaWiki spam blacklist, which includes all of Wikimedia and Wikipedia. →Lwalt ♦ talk 01:55, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Response to apology
Thanks for posting your message to apologize for the links posted to the Interior decorating article...your apology is sincerely accepted.
By the way, since you plan to add external links to articles in the future, you might want to first review the Wikipedia guidelines at WP:SPAM so that you can become better acquainted with what's expected for external links posted to articles...and so that you don't end up being blocked by an administrator because of your postings of links to sites that primarily sell or appear to promote sales of merchandise. Your Talk Page previously indicated concerns from another editor about this issue, so I thought that I would help you avoid any misunderstandings related to posting external links in articles. Many thanks. →Lwalt ♦ talk 18:33, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
