Description

Australian War Memorial image NEA0414 Flying from Mareeba, Qld. 1944-03-18. Close portside view of a CAC CA-13 Boomerang fighter aircraft, serial no. A46-128, of No. 5 (Tactical Reconnaissance) Squadron RAAF, piloted by 407056 Flight Lieutenant D. H. Goode of Port Pirie, SA. The aircraft is coded BF-N and nicknamed "U-Beaut 2".
