[edit] Removal of link
I added that link to contemporary Hyderabad since the page lacks anything on today's Hyderabad - it is mostly history and geography, and all the cliched stuff. I'd have written some of that stuff myself, but citations would be needed, so I put an external link. I think wiki should be reflective of the city holistically. - Definitely! However, there are certain guidelines that Wikipedia editors have put forward regarding external links. Please see them listed here. As you can see, linking to commercial sites, such as the one you linked to, is not allowed. In the absence of this rule, you'd have tons of sites listed under the external link section, and a casual reader would find it difficult to identify any relevant links from among them. --thunderboltz(TALK) 20:29, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- Indeed it should, and so you have done. Thank you! :-) --thunderboltz(TALK) 15:30, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
