[edit] Wikipedia is like a right wing dictatorship that is run by children

You see any admin can decide that something you wrote in good faith is actually a personal attack, he can disregard the wikipedia guidelines and make accusations directly attacking you on the talk page of an article without censure but you are left with no way to defend your words and prove they were in no way a personal attack. When you try to argue your point and even raise a complaint about this you are then accused of incivility and even more alarmingly harassing people.

You see under the rules of wikipedia you are guilty if charged and are supposed to just take it on the chin and get on with it, you are not allowed to carry on your argument because then you are charged with harassment and are blocked from editing Wikipedia and therefore are blocked from defending yourself or even raising a complaint.

I said something that was not a personal attack, it was not even an attack. I used a phrase "Anyone with any size brain can see that" referring to something that had happened, but i was not arguing with anyone, i was not even talking to anyone in particular. And of course any size can mean large as well as small, so if i was guilty of a personal attack then surely i am as guilty of personal flattery??? But of course i am not because the complainant had decided for himself what my words meant and never even thought to ask me - he must have a fantastic insight to my thoughts and decided i was in attack mode.

So there we have it, the wonders of Wikipedia, lets all gang up on the new boy, lets not answer his questions as to why we never acted properly and followed the wikipedia guidelines ourselves and then when it seems he wont go away instead of actually bothering to acknowledge that he was treated unfairly by the first complaint just block him from his only way to defend himself against a bogus accusation. Nice one!

Does "Who the hell do you think you are", "You have picked the worng person to annoy here", "You are: childish, stupid" sound anyway civil? Meateater 15:42, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] It does not take a genius to work it out - phrase now barred from use in Wikipedia

Well, if using the phrase "anyone with any size brain can see that" constitutes a personal attack then "it does not take a genius to work it out" is too as both phrases mean exactly the same thing. I guess it discriminates against people who are not geniuses or something.

So i really hope to see a clamp down on this phrase in the future.
