From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Attention:

This IP address, 58.152.138.14, is registered to NETVIGATOR (Hong Kong), and may be shared by multiple users. If the organization uses proxy servers or firewalls, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block may be shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism; if so, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user. Alternatively, you can list the IP at Wikipedia:WikiProject on XFFs.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation.
IT staff who want to monitor vandalism from this IP address can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format.

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 58.152.138.14). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.

When you edit pages:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. MER-C 12:44, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Sorry for the stray revert. MER-C 12:44, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. - Aksi_great (talk) 16:33, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edits to Guilt and Guilty

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 16:42, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Guilt, are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. --Adriaan90 18:02, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please STOP creating nonsense articles

Please stop. If you continue to create inappropriate pages such as Talk:UserLonelyPker, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 15:04, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Talk:UserLonelyPker, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 15:29, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Please do not remove legitimate warnings from your talk page or replace them with inappropriate content. Removing or altering warnings from your talk page will not remove them from the page history.

YOU DON'T SAY!!! Aren't you the clever one(?)

You are welcome to archive your talk page. Thanks. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 15:29, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Talk pages

Hello. I saw your question about removing comments from user talk pages. If you create an account you may pretty much do as you wish with your talk page, within pretty wide limits. Anonymous IP addresses, however, are not afforded that same luxury. Warnings left on this talk page are intended to remain visible, so that anyone tracking possible bad faith edits can see them, and know that previous warnings were already given. That helps determine when or if the IP address should be blocked from editing. If this is a shared IP, you may be seeing warnings left for previous users of the IP. Creating an account will ensure that you only get messages directed to you, concerning edits that you make. If the messages on this talk page were clearly left for someone else, then I recommend creating an account. It is free, there are several benefits and no personal information is required. Considering that you just recreated Talk:UserLonelyPker, yet again, I doubt the warnings were left for someone else. This is most likely a static IP address. Are you perhaps looking for User talk:LonelyPker? SWAdair 10:57, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Last time I checked it was not illegal to say hello and/or leave greeting messages on user talk pages. Please advise if this isn't the case. Thanks.

[edit] UNFORTUNATELY

I have had to reboot so have lost this IP. Oh well. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 219.78.221.58 (talkcontribs) .
