51-st Guards motor-shooting (П formation). This number in 1965 has received existing since times of war (more precisely, since the pre-war period) 15-th Guards СД (with 1957 - МСД). It constantly was a part of 13-th ОА where has passed in 1946 from disbanded 5-th Guards ОА. All its shelfs, as well as their number, have remained without changes. - Feskov et al, p.114
