"5,6,7,8" was the first single released by the British pop group, Steps. The verses are performed by Lee, while the rest of the group join in for the choruses. It coincided with a minor line dancing craze in the UK at the time.
It is Steps' only single to miss the top ten in the UK. The song reached #1 in Australia.
