[edit] Lyrics

i felt the song was so heart rendering, so i wrote down the lyrics. maybe it is eligable to include the lyrics to the article but then some native speaker should review it...

Remember how it used to be in 3rd grade
we used to laugh and play and cherrish each day
in the 3rd grade
we learned wonderous things
from a teacher so nice
sat on marshmellow desks
with teddybear smiles
the world seem to all make sense
but that sense seem to slowly fade
after 3rd grade
in 3rd grade we used to ride with "crans?"
we would make sparkly pictures with glitter and glue
we had warm cookies
and hearts full of love
and there wasnt a care in the world for me
... or for you
there's not a thing in this life
that i wouldn't trade
just to go back for minute to 3rd grade

[edit] First Trivia Point

It says that both geeks in the episode are "incorrect; the original series of Star Trek had 79 episodes.". It should also be noted that "The Menagerie" was aired as 2 seperate episodes thus bringing the count to 80. see Star Trek: The Original Series

If nobody disagrees then I'll change it.

  • Seconded. I looked at 79 episodes while watching this episode on KPDX from my TiVo and was quite amused by the coincidence of the same fencepost error being created with the episode quantity in Wikipedia as in the subject episode.
