45P/Honda-Mrkos-Pajdušáková is a periodic comet discovered by Minoru Honda December 3, 1948 [1]. The comet is named after Minoru Honda, Antonín Mrkos and Ľudmila Pajdušáková.

The orbit is elliptical with period of 5.252 years.

The orbital work of Kazuo Kinoshita discovered that it will pass with significantly close proximity of only 0.0601 AU from the Earth in August 15, 2011 [2]. It will also pass close to Earth on June 1, 2017.
