The parallel 43° north is an imaginary circle of latitude that is 43 degrees north of the Earth's equatorial plane.
Starting at the prime meridian and heading eastwards, the parallel 43° north passes through:

The parallel 43° north formed the northern border of the historic and extralegal Territory of Jefferson.
