Welcome
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
Here are some other hints and tips:
- I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
- When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.
If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my Talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will answer your questions as far as I can. Again, welcome!
Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. -- The Hybrid 01:23, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Please do not add unreferenced controversial information to Wikipedia articles on living persons, as you did to Sims, North Carolina. Thank you. Andrew_pmk | Talk 21:28, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Jort (apparel), you will be blocked from editing. Neranei T/C 20:42, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] August 2007
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. Kat, Queen of Typos 15:52, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your contributions to Flyleaf and Lacey Mosley
Hello and thanks for your contributions to various music related articles. There is just one problem I noted. And it's probably just something that went by accident. You replaced the properly sourced genres in Flyleaf and Lacey Mosley by other genres, which where not sourced for their own. I reverted your edits because of a few reasons: 1) they are not in accordance with Wikipedia:Verifiability, which is a Wikipedia:Policy, 2) the genre of the band and the person is a sensitive subject, it is disputed often, so special care needs to be taken with edits, and 3) more specifically, readers and other editors can not check wether your contribution is generally agreed upon or if it is just your personal opinion. I hope you can live with this, feel free to reply to my concerns, either here, on my talk page or on the article's talk pages. -- Pepve 23:06, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] December 2007
Why did you revert my edits to the list of female metal singers? I'm just curious, as the changes you made seem rather baffling. Asarelah (talk) 17:26, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test on the page Wicked Wisdom worked, and it has been reverted or removed. [edit] Sharon den Adel
Thank you for your contributions. Your contribution to the page Sharon den Adel has been determined to contain incorrect information. Editors adding new material should cite a reliable source, or it may be challenged or removed by any editor. Please see Wikipedia:Verifiability for more information about this. Thank you. -- ReyBrujo (talk) 03:07, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] List of female rock singers
Hi. I noticed that you reverted my edits to the list. The reason I removed Giersbergen is because she is a metal singer, and thus belongs on the list of Female metal singers. There is a link to the female metal singers list at the top of the article. It would simply be redundant to include female metal singers in the rock singers list, as there is a seperate list exlusively for them. Hope this clears up any misunderstandings. [edit] Sigma Gamma Rho
Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Sigma Gamma Rho. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you.
