Thanks for getting back to me. The most pressing issue was that talk pages are not a forum for general discussion relating to the subject, they're more for talking about specific improvements to the article itself. And many of the editors who edit the Scientology article are Scientologists. So yes, there are some nasty quirks about the religion, but think about what Christianity must've been like in, say, 60AD.
