This article claims that 41 robbers accompanied Ali Baba in the Arabian Nights story. The article 40 (number) refers to 40 robbers. Which one is true? Is it Ali Baba + 40 robbers = 41 individuals? --Niels Ø 15:02, Apr 19, 2005 (UTC)

I notice that it says that 41 is "encoded" in Bach's music forming the sum from A=1, B=2 etc on JSBACH. In fact as stands this does not work, and the total produced is 43. Bach would have used the 24 letter Latin alphabet where I=J (and U=V), to produce the total 41. However, it is also worth noting that this is sometimes disputed among musicologists and is a source of some controversy. I'm afraid I don't have a reference to hand for this, but not all musicologists accept Bach's use of number alphabets in this way. Alan1507 14:43, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
