This is a very preliminary form of 3D en:vector-based graphical user interface found in a privately funded 3D vector-based graphical user interface research project. In this case, the buttons for the windows have not been made yet. A website in the internet browser in the foreground can be seen, but the website is based on raster graphics (except for the text), so it has to be textured to the window first. The background is a raster image. The windows have a slight perspective since they are 3D. In a 3D user interface, the background windows are literally in the background; they "sink" behind. The windows are based on the polygon geometry. |
