Please stop removing content from the Prussian Blue page. Please discuss your changes first on the Talk page. V. Alex Brennen 16:03, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
- I have discussed my reasons for removing the unsupported items from the Prussian Blue page, and I believe my edits are fully complaint with Wikipedia's policies. Please see the discussion page if you have questions. Unless you or someone else can provide a reliable source verifying the item in question, I think it should be removed. I would also like to add that I think it is in poor form to bring this up here on my talk page. Please take it to the Prussian Blue Talk page where people can discuss this issue as well as your tendency to erase other people's legitimate edits. 38.2.108.125 18:40, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
Please do not add commercial links — or links to your own private websites — to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. -- GraemeL (talk) 14:22, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
- The link in question was to a talk show. It is neither commercial nor is it to my own website (are you mistaking me for someone else perhaps?). Please keep the discussion on the appropriate talk page where others can discuss it. 38.2.108.125 19:26, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply on your talk page. I am glad we cleared up this misunderstanding. :-) 38.2.108.125 20:31, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "Reasonable" content reverted
I appologize if I reverted a legitimate edit. The time period in which the instance happend was an unusually busy time as far as vandalism went. To prevent this happening in the future, please register an account. This way you can be given recognition for your contributions to our encyclopedia. Thank you. --Zsinj 18:52, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
- Also, for the record, I only touched that page once, hence voiding any implied connotation that I was repeatedly reverting your edits. Thanks. --Zsinj
[edit] Blogs
Hi 38.2.108.125. I noticed your revert war going on with Prussian Blue. A wee bit of unsolicited advice ... :) Your best bet is to first sign up for a wikipedia account so you can be recognized. And then you can look through here to see if there has been any formal ruling on the inclusion of blogs as external links. If this doesn't work, you can start a discussion on the talk page and request a formal ruling.

- Hi 38.2.108.125. I looked through all of the wikipedia policy I could find on the subject of external links, specifically blogs and forums. Unfortunately there is no clear ruling on the issue. The policy states that blogs and forums are sometimes ok to add as external links. Personally, I think you're fighting an uphill battle with the Prussian Blue page. Your energy might be better spent trying to define policy on these types of links. :)

- Thank you for your reply to my concerns regarding the Prusian Blue page. Frankly, I have given up on that page-- I don't think it is possible to keep it from being turned into a promotional page, and I agree that my time might be better spent elsewhere. Anyway, thanks for replying. 38.2.108.125 19:49, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
- Don't give up on Wikipedia just because it seems impossible to keep one article NPOV. When things get heated, I've found it helps to remove those links from your watch list for a few days. It helps things cool down and gives you a fresh viewpoint. There are a ton of good things going on at Wikipedia. It'd be a shame to lose you as an editor just because of one bad experience. So ... when are you going to sign up for that account??? :)

[edit] AfD nomination of Prussian Blue (duo)
An editor has nominated Prussian Blue (duo), an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Prussian Blue (duo) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 02:00, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
