- Octavian pacified Dalmatia, Illyricum, and Pannonia, while Antony regained Armenia from Parthia.
- Mark Antony becomes Roman Consul for the second time. His partner is Lucius Scribonius Libo. The latter is replaced with Aemilius Lepidus Paullus during the year.
- Autumn — The Donations of Alexandria: Mark Antony distributes the eastern kingdoms to his children by Pharaoh Cleopatra VII of Egypt: Alexander Helios, Cleopatra Selene and Ptolemy Philadelphus.
