Rush's R30: 30th Anniversary Tour was a concert tour which celebrated a milestone for the Canadian progressive rockers. It also resulted in the November 2005 R30: 30th Anniversary World Tour DVD which was recorded September 24, 2004 at the Festhalle in Frankfurt Germany. The tour was staged in amphitheaters in North America and arenas in Europe. Of note was a video role of comedian Jerry Stiller as an introduction to each performance.

The setlist was consistent throughout the entire world tour for the first time since the 1987 Hold Your Fire tour. The released product saw the omission of songs "Bravado", "One Little Victory", "By-Tor And The Snow Dog", "La Villa Strangiato", "YYZ", "Red Sector A", and "Secret Touch" as these tracks were already featured on the Rush in Rio DVD, a full concert in Brazil on the last night of the band's 2002 Vapor Trails Tour. This was done to eliminate redundancy. This modified set-list is heard on both the 30th Anniversary Tour DVD, as well as a deluxe edition that included the performance on a dual CD soundtrack.

Tour routing saw Starwood Amphitheatre, in Nashville, Tennessee to start with on May 26, 2004 and Sportpaleis Ahoy in Rotterdam, The Netherlands to finish on October 1 of that same year.
