This image, 300who_k9.jpg (copied from http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pressreleases/stories/2005/08_august/24/who.shtml), is being linked here; though the picture is copyright © to the BBC, I (Radagast 01:06, 9 July 2007 (UTC)) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use law because:

The image is a low-resolution copy of a publicity photograph;
The image is being used for informational purposes about the character of K-9 (Doctor Who), as it appeared in the television programme Doctor Who;
No more free alternative exists or can exist;
The use of the image in this article will have no effect on the BBC's commercial use of the image in question.

This is a copyrighted image that has been released by a company or organization to promote their work or product in the media, such as advertising material or a promotional photo in a press kit.

The copyright for it is most likely owned by the company who created the promotional item or the artist who produced the item in question; you must provide evidence of such ownership. Lack of such evidence is grounds for deletion.
