I don't know of any sources (I'll try to find some later), but I think this article should explain how MDA differs from MDMA in that MDA has more visuals and a better body high while MDMA makes you feel more emotional (loving everyone), makes you feel more like dancing and moving around, makes you feel more euphoric, and that MDA and MDMA are often mixed together in ecstasy pills. —Christopher Mann McKay^talk 16:54, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

I removed this from the "Effects" section:

It is a direct metabolite of MDMA.
