Might this be a "vanity" TLD? (id being i.d.) Also, along with .co.ck, .ac.id seems to be the only "word" inside domain names... are there any others? Tar7arus 15:47, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
A few others, .org.gy, .co.il, .co.at and the like, are in the list of domain hacks. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.102.80.239 (talk) 16:37, August 23, 2007 (UTC)
It would be a better vanity TLD if they were willing to allow second-level domain names, ie: http://fake.id - but it looks like they do not. --66.102.80.239 10:57, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Commercial Nature?
Is it appropriate when a link that says .id domain registration and hosting points to a commercial company, in article about .id?
Or should there be a separate page that lists companies who provides .id registration service?
