[edit] Matt Burke
I changed the "Deviations" page previously and it was changed back for some unknown reason. In the book, Matt Burke is also gay, it's just not a major plot point of the novel. It isn't stated clearly, but it's there; there is a passage stating that nobody cared about Burke's lifestyle as long as he didn't demonstrate it in town.

- I just removed that part again, also the part about Marjorie Glick's bite being 'cured' by a tetanus shot. Its in the book, if you look for it. Leafschik1967 18:34, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
After reading the book I didn't personally believe that Matt Burke was supposed to be gay, but that people in a small nosey town would think that. Afterall he was an interlectuall who lived alone, but I don't necessarily think that made him gay. When Ben tells him not tell anyone about Mike Ryerson he says something along the lines of 'The fact you live alone and unmarried will probably make them think we're a couple of queers getting our kicks'. We'll discuss it further before I add anything to the discrepencies. ArdClose (talk) 02:20, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Salems lot cap.jpg
Image:Salems lot cap.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Mini Series?
Are you sure this is a mini series? I have a DVD with everything the same (character actors, story, cover etc). It was filmed mostly in the little town of Creswick. It isnt split into a two part series on the DVD. Am i posting in the wrong section? provide a link to redirect to the movie if i am wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.139.45.249 (talk) 10:35, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- It was aired over a span of two days when it premiered and was advertised as a miniseries.--CyberGhostface 03:41, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
- If you watch the DVD you will see a part where there was clearly meant to be a break (i.e. showing Ben back in the hospital with the orderly, and then recapping the basic stroy). ArdClose (talk) 01:53, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Cast
Anyone else think that maybe the cast page could be done a bit better? I don't really think guys like Dr. Cody and Mark Petrie have 'cameo' roles in the script. Leafschik1967 18:36, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
- Maybe "supporting" would be better?--CyberGhostface 04:06, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Diviations
I cleared this section up a bit...I think it was a tad misleading and some pieces of info were a bit gratuitous. I wasn't particularly sure about the 'Kurt Barlow gets younger and younger' part, but I left it there for benifit of the doubt. I know these kind of sections are difficult to keep snappy, as it's hard to tell where to draw the line between what's relevent and what's not, but the way the story was adapted I tried to cluster things up a bit.
