Blocked

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for impersonating a Wikipedia:Administrator. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.  Netsnipe  ►  09:43, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "If you twats hadn't taken so long to review the requests that were piling up at WP:RFU, I wouldn't have had to take such drastic measures. Therefore it's all your fault, and I should be unblocked"

Decline reason: "Pretending to be a sysop in this way is totally unacceptable for all the reasons Netsnipe explained below.— chaser - t 10:45, 21 May 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

You don't even have access rights to this page, so what makes you think slapping on a message saying "you're unblocked" on someone else's talk page will actually do anything? --  Netsnipe  ►  09:52, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Because an admin can then arrive, see the "request granted" message, and immediately unblock. Otherwise they have to waste time reviewing the edits. I am in effect preventing administrators from needlessly wasting time performing mundane tasks. Why is no-one reviewing unblock requests? There are loads piling up now. It'll take all of about 5 minutes to do. No wonder there are so many vandals and trolls around, and so many established users leaving- no-one is treated with any respect round here! 2 year investigation (talk) 10:02, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Because some of these outstanding requests require someone with Wikipedia:CheckUser access to properly assess. You're also wasting everyone's time because in effect you've removed them from the queue and we never get to see the request. You also don't have the authority to review unblocks in the first place, so no one will respect your judgement. The Wikipedia community simply won't trust anyone who hasn't been vetted by the Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship process. --  Netsnipe  ►  10:36, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
