  • Emperor Probus suppresses the revolt of the usurper Proculus.
  • Probus chases the Alani off to Asia Minor.
  • The commander of the Roman fleet on the Rhine, Bonosus, is proclaimed emperor. Beaten by Probus' troops, Bonosus is hung.
