25 Bank Street is a skyscraper in Canary Wharf, London and is occupied primarily by Lehman Brothers. It is 153 metres (502 ft) tall, with 33 floors, making it the joint 8th tallest building in the city (tied with neighbouring 40 Bank Street). Built in 2003, its architect was Cesar Pelli & Associates Architects and the builder was Canary Wharf Contractors.[1]

Trivia

  • The top floor of the building is illuminated in green at night. However, every hour, it cross fades to purple for a minute, then goes back to green.
  • In a recent Citigroup recruitment advert, there is a photo of Canary Wharf containing the Citigroup Centre and 25 Bank Street - the photo was edited by Citigroup to make it appear that 25 Bank Street is only four storeys tall.
