The division was disbanded in the early 1990s at the decision of the government of Ukraine.

Any references of this? From information given by Ministry of defense it hasn't been disbanded. Recently it was renamed a brigade like all the other Ukrainian divisions. Ceriy 03:28, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

I was wondering that myself, why were the divisions all renamed "brigades"? Any ideas Ceriy? If you know this definitely be written mentions in Military of Ukraine to avoid confusion. Cheers, Bogdan 22:00, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Реформування Збройних Сил сьогодні знаходиться на етапі 2002 року, його завершення в програмі до 2005 року.
