[edit] Edits to Ash Ketchum

I noticed your recent edits to Ash Ketchum. I don't doubt they were in good faith, but I reverted them for the following reasons:

  • A blow-by-blow description of each time a Pokémon is used and which Pokémon was used in which league might be considered fancruft.
  • Ash isn't obliged to use different types of Pokémon, so comments like "Bulbasaur was his main Grass-type Pokémon" are irrelevant.
  • The word is Pokémon, not pokemon.
  • Houen is the Japanese name. The English name is Hoenn.

Apart from these points, I must admit that your edits were pretty impressive. You are, of course, welcome and encouraged to make further edits to the article (just don't make these mistakes again). Cheers and happy editing, The Raven's Apprentice (Call) 16:03, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

On Talk Pages, remember to sign your comments using four tildes, like this ~~~~ This automatically produces your username and the date and time of the message. Anyway, as for Pikachu-- I'm not sure about Sceptile (as I've hardly seen any of Advanced Generation) but it's definitely not as strong as Charizard. Ash always uses Charizard (in the Kanto, Orange Islands, and Johto Leagues at least) as his final Pokémon, and most trainers save their strongest Pokémon for the final round. And doesn't it say Sceptile managed to hold its own against a Deoxys? I don't think Pikachu could have done that.
