Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Ckatzchatspy 01:34, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Sydney Tamiia Poitier. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please stop adding your links to Wikipedia Javier Bardem . It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion.
- Note - this IP appears to be the same editor as Moonset; same URLs, editing patterns, and disregard for warnings. --Ckatzchatspy 03:47, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] March 2008
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Jim Sturgess. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. IndulgentReader (talk) 07:41, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia. (Previous history of similar behaviour.) Ckatzchatspy 07:55, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] April 2008
- Note: block has been extended to two weeks for block evasion; user also edits as User:Moonset and used that account to spam the same link repeatedly. --Ckatzchatspy 04:29, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
| | This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
