[edit] Additions of http://.socialanxietysupportchat.com

Please do not add advertising or inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.--Hu12 (talk) 01:35, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi, my site is not promotion or advertisement. It's a non profit organazation dedicated to informing and helping those with social anxiety. It's no different than the open directory project and I see no reason why it shouldn't be there so I put it back up.

[edit] April 2008

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Social phobia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Gwernol 13:44, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Social anxiety. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Gwernol 13:44, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Social phobia, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing anyone from linking to them from all of Wikipedia. Gwernol 23:09, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for persistent spamming. Please stop. You're welcome to make useful contributions after the block expires. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

Request reason: "What is your problem Gwernol? I'm not spamming at all, the link that I'm posting is completely relevant for a page about Social Phobia and I think you're completely out of line by blocking me from editing the page. I posted in the discussion page about adding the link as a resource, and nobody complained and I waited a few days so I finally I just posted it. I'm not trying to make any money here, as I said, my site has no advertisements or fees, it's simply a great resource for people with Social Anxiety Disorder. I don't see any reason why other message boards and chat sites can't be added under resources. The wikipedia page is very important, it is the first result that appears on Google, you haven't really given me a good reason why I can't add this link it's completely relevant and is not spam at all. Why would you keep doing this to me?"

Decline reason: "One problem is, as you freely admit above, that it's your site. It may well be a good resource, or it may not. Since you have a conflict of interest in the matter, your opinion is a bit biased in favor of the site. The other problem with the link is that it's a chat site, and violates our external links policy. It's great that you brought it up on the talk page first, but silence doesn't constitute consent or consensus, and you continued to post it even after being told to stop by an administrator. Please review our policies; you will not be unblocked, and you are asked again to stop posting your site on Wikipedia. — Hersfold (t/a/c) 02:58, 28 April 2008 (UTC)"
