[edit] What would you want to do?
I'll keep on reverting because you are deviating from the standards.
HOWEVER, can you explain to me what changed were you offended? --Howard the Duck 05:15, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
I don't care about your standards. These articles were written by other people and they should be cited. I created and researched it so please do not put "Players of Note" which is just not appropriate for what I created this article for. ALL THE PLAYERS OF THESE TWO GREAT TEAMS ARE ALL EQUAL AND NO PLAYERS ARE OF NOTE! THEY ARE ALL GREAT PLAYERS! SO STOP!
PLUS ABE KING AND ARNIE TUALDES CONTRIBUTED MORE TO TOYOTA than DANNY FLORENCIO. LIKEWISE WITH LIM ENG BENG WHEN HE JOINED CRISPA DURING HIS WANING YEARS.
I AM ONLY GIVING CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!!!!!
- Ok, calm down. Nothing will happen if we are shouting all the time don't we?
--Howard the Duck 05:29, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
I am not conceding the places of Abe King and Arnie Tuadles. Florencio can be cited on his own article. But as far as his place on the Toyota lineup is concerned he only ranks sixth!
I don't care about how the other articles are organizes. Toyota and Crispa are special to a Filipino like me and you. I will fight for what I have created in this article. I will appreciate any NEW contributions you might have but I will not have you change the format. AGAIN I AM SORRY IF I WAS A LITTLE HOT HEADED but this is my STAND.
- Can you site the rankings? You see that we should be neutral, no favoritism. I am a Filipino and although I would agree that Crispa and Toyota were greatest teams, lets not get carried away, after all Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a fansite. I will not change the article for the meantime, but please do change the headers, only the first letter must be capitalized (like ==Team roster==, not ==Team Roster==. Thanks. --Howard the Duck 05:41, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
I am carried away because I know one of the people who have written thes articles. What do you mean you won't change it "in the meantime" ? I will format it the way I like and how these teams and their players should be remembered. I don't see any reason why capitalizing any word would make a difference. The information on the article is as neutral as it can get.(and concise and informative) I am a Toyota fan but I care about that Crispa article as if I've written it myself.
- For the meantime means I will be consulting other people on what to do. About capitalization, you might not know it, but Wikipedia has a Manual on style which states that all succeeding words on a section header must start with small letters, unless they're proper nouns. Just please make them smaller and I won't touch it, for the mean time. --Howard the Duck 05:50, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
I've read the manual. From my point of view it's just a guideline and not the Rule. I would follow rules of citation but NOT grammar, structure, much less capitalization. Wikipedia is about Information and not so much about semantics. Until the next "meantime"....
Actually, it is a rule, a check displayed on the page makes it a rule, other pages such as this is not. --Howard the Duck 05:59, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
READ THIS SENTENCE ON TOP : "this is not an actual policy" PLUS: This page is a style guide....IT IS A GUIDE!!! it is not the rule
Well then leave as it is, but if somebody else applies the style guide, you should not revert it. (P.S.: Sign your posts using ~~~~ at the end so that people would know that it is you.) --Howard the Duck 06:06, 21 July 2006 (UTC) Ok, thanks! Whew! Again, if I was a bit Ill mannered. My Sincerest Apologies. I'm a bit shoert fused as you can tell.
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. --Howard the Duck 06:52, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
Pare, ang kulit mo yata. You are the one undoing my article. I am ASKING YOU NICELY. YOU PRETEND TO BE AN EXPERT ON BASKETBALL TRIVIA BUT YOU ARE NOT. YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW THE TEAM COLORS OF TOYOTA NOR THEIR MANAGERS. OR EVEN WHERE THE word "REDMANIZER" comes from. Whether your name is Nastrans or Howard the Duck, I am asking you nicely PLEASE Do not touch the Toyota Crispa articles. YOU CAN DO ALL YOU WANT WITH THE OTHER PBA TEAMS where YOU ARE AN EXPERT BUT PLEASE DON"T PRETEND YOU ARE AN EXPERT ON THESE TWO TEAMS. Again, I am asking you nicely. I will be forced to apply the GOLDEN RULE on you and ALL YOUR ARTICLES. PLEASE STOP CHANGING MY ( I REPEAT "MY") articles about Crispa and Toyota.
- It is important to keep a cool head, especially when responding to comments against you or your edits. Personal attacks and disruptive comments only escalate a situation; please keep calm and remember that action can be taken against other parties if necessary. Attacking another user back can only satisfy trolls or anger contributors and leads to general bad feeling. Please try to remain civil with your comments. Thanks!
- No, I'm not User:Nastrans. I've already notified the authorities on this. We need to follow Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I'm not pretending to be an expert, that's why I add invisible notes. Even if Crispa and Toyota are the greatest, we should SYILL follow the rules. And again, nobody owns Wikipedia articles. You can still edit them but please don't push your POV. Thanks. --Howard the Duck 07:03, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
You are the one pusing your POV. I am asking you nicely. PLEASE, Stop.
- I'm not pushing my POV. We have a standard for basketball team pages. Again let me bring you to the Los Angeles Clippers page, even if Bill Walton didn't do anything great, he still classified at the basketball hall of famers section, while other others are all clustered in "not to be forgetten" section. Also don't add bylines. If you have a source, cite by creating a reference section, with a link. You have been reverted twice already. Two more and you may be blocked. --Howard the Duck 07:09, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
I told you, I don't care about your standards. I MADE THIS ARTICLE. AND YOU HAVE NOT CONTRIBUTED ON IOATA TO THIS ARTICLE. BLOCK ME SURE! I WILL CHANGE IT AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. I AM ALSO THREATENING YOUR OTHER ARTICLES. I AM ONLY ASKING YOU NOT TO CHANGE TOYOTA AND CRISPA. WHY ARE YOU SO INSISTANT ? YOU DON'T SCARE ME!!!
- I told you too, Nobody owns WIkipedia articles, even the authors. Wikipedia is not a fan site, it is an encyclopedia. Read this when you edit this page: "If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly or redistributed by others, do not submit it." --Howard the Duck 07:27, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
I did submit it but not for you to murder! Again. I am asking you nicely. STOP!
- I am asking you nicely, don't push your POV. We should follow standards on basketball team pages. And still you have directed to me a basketball team page that has a starting five on it. If you can give me ten good reasons why your reversions are legit then I'll stop. I've already reported this to the admins. Also don't put bylines. Have you seen a Wikipedia article where there is a byline in the main part? --Howard the Duck 08:27, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
I AM ASKING YOU NICELY, Obviously you don't know the History of this two teams. They were defined by their Starting Fives. I don't care if you report me to the admins. I created the article and I don't see anything wrong with it!
- You are evading my question. Answer them first:
- Where a Wikipedia basketball article where the starting five was added? Even the Chicago Bulls didn't have a starting five cited there.
- Again, you DON'T OWN the article. Nobody owns it. Everybody can edit it, as long as its within the standards. --Howard the Duck 08:31, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 3RR
You have been blocked for 24 hours for violating the three-revert rule at Crispa Redmanizers. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but please also make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future. Thanks! :-) --Chris S. 08:37, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
