When an anonymous editor adds uncited and unsourced information (See Wikipedia:Citing_sources and Wikipedia:Verifiability for guidelines), it is common to remove it, especially when it seems suspicious to another editor. Wikipedia stores all versions of articles so that any deleted information can easily be brought back.
