[edit] westie rescue sites

Hello, speaking as a foster for a rescue, I realize that your intentions are noble, but wikipedia is not a web directory. Placing links to places to get dogs, be it a rescue or a back yard breeder, is not allowed here. Furthermore, wikipedia is not a soapbox and cannot be used to exclaim the virtues of getting your dog from a rescue. I myself am a foster for a rescuse and have rescued several dogs, and do admit that it is a temping place to promote rescuing dogs - this is not the place. Please refrain from re-adding these external links. Continue to do so, and you may be blocked from editing wikipedia. - Trysha (talk) 02:16, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Scottish-Americans

In the article History of Texas you added that Scottish Americans have shaped the state of Texas commenting: (Houston, Bowie, Crockett, Austin, Cleburne, and many other military/political leaders were Scots-Irish. In addition, more counties have Scots-Irish names than any other nationalities.) Have they really shaped Texas that drastically such as say Tejanos to be included? Remember that the sentence is refering to Modern Texas. Please provide a citation for these kind of edits. See Wikipedia:Citing sources and Wikipedia:Citing Wikipedia for help. unblock request: Didn't know my proposed user name was similar to that of a known offender. My edit history is good. I just got tired of being a numerical IP address only. The names I tried to use were Incognegro and Incognegro2. [User:24.0.77.170|24.0.77.170]] 02:48, 28 October 2006 (UTC)}}

Er, perhaps you've been logged out? I can't look into a user's block without knowing which user to look at, unfortunately. If you've been autoblocked due to what sounds like a username block, please say so, providing the original username and/or blocking admin. Luna Santin 03:02, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

I undid the autoblock for Incognegro2. Do not try to use that account again or you'll be autoblocked again (by the software, not by an admin). Try a different username please. —Wknight94 (talk) 04:04, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
