Attention:

This IP address, 219.90.167.51, is registered to Adam Internet Pty Ltd, and may be shared by multiple users. If the organization uses proxy servers or firewalls, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block may be shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism; if so, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user. Alternatively, you can list the IP at Wikipedia:WikiProject on XFFs.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation.
IT staff who want to monitor vandalism from this IP address can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format.

[edit] Warnings

[edit] November 2007

  1. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Serge Gainsbourg. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

[edit] Serge Gainsbourg

Please read the Wikipedia guidelines carefully.

I'm afraid I have reported you for edit warring. In future, please use the talk page before editing. 219.90.167.51 03:26, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

I have provided reasons -- see the talk. And please read up on policies yourself -- ip jumping to get around the WP:3RR is WP:SOCK, and accusing other editors of vandalism when it is unwarranted and a mere content dispute violates WP:NPA and WP:CIVIL. Finally, read WP:BRD -- you made a change, were reverted, so you discuss without reverting again, until consensus is reached. You no not keep reverting if multiple editors oppose you. Gscshoyru 03:29, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

There has been no reason given for removing this information. Care to explain why you think it should be removed?

It is quite petty and immature.

Furthermore, you are accusing me of IP jumping, which is a serious accusation, and bad faith.

An IP scout will be performed for your IP, and the IP of Irishguy and Murgh. 219.90.167.51 03:49, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

All the recent ip's come from 219.90.*.*, and by their identical edits it is improbable to think that you're anything but the same editor from multiple ip's. I have given you reasons, on the talk page. If you don't think they're valid, explain why, please. Gscshoyru 04:01, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Three revert rule violation block

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule at Serge Gainsbourg. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

The same block will apply to all three IPs which are clearly the same user. Sam Blacketer 09:39, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
