User talk:217.42.4.145

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hi, I'm totally new to Wikipedia and am learning the ropes. I read in the policy documents that links to true open directories are acceptable so came back to re-add the link from earlier. THEN I saw your suggestion that I discuss it in the talk page for this page first. I would remove it and then discuss it with you all, but I don't know how to roll back the change.

So I'll talk about it here.

This link is not commercial. It's a link to part of a new, open, directory which currently covers Devon and Cornwall, but is planned to eventually cover all of the UK. It allows accommodation providers to enter a completely free listing (including their own contact details, photos and web links), and it allows web users free access to this information.

If this is an inappropriate external link for this page, could you please explain why?
