Thanks
For backing my edit one the San Juan article, I have sense then, placed the info box in format similar to the other Multiplicities of Puerto Rico recognizing Puerto Rico's status. Again Thanks, --Mrlego9 (talk) 21:40, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
User talk edits?
Having too many edits in the User talk namespace (you mentioned it on WP:AWC) shouldn't fail any RfA. Especially if it's welcoming newbies. WEBURIEDOURSECRETSINTHEGARDENplay it cool. 17:30, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

Okay, but where do I start in terms of Article Talk and WP Talk? Also, I already went for an editor review. I wonder if I can still find it?... Two One Six Five Five discuss my greatness 19:17, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
Found it. Wikipedia:Editor_review/21655 Two One Six Five Five τ ʃ 21:53, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry it's been so long! Things are pretty hectic this end, but hopefully I'll be online more reguarly now.
- Where can you start? Well, just by adding your opinion every now and then, or perhaps commenting on what could be done on the article. Any productive talking is good!
- Another sort of Wikipedia namespace editing you can do is helping out on the talk page. Even if you don't know the answer to a question, it's always good to research and you'll find your knowledge of wikipedia grows quite a bit. And I always find it good to include a link to the page I found the information on anyway.
- Anyway, that was pretty brief, but I must be off for the night. Cheers- CattleGirl talk 10:56, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
- Who in the name of Nintendo is Willy on Wheels? Do you know the page where I can find what went down between this guy and Jimbo? Two One Six Five Five τ ʃ 22:29, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- Also, care to comment on my ER? Please? Two One Six Five Five τ ʃ 03:36, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- Wow, sorry it's been so long! It's festival season over here in Australia :)
- Willy On Wheels was an incredibly annoying high speed page mover... which caused a lot of trouble for everyone trying to revert him.
- It's sort of hard to find pages on him now because they're all deleted and protected on Wikipedia.
- haha, name of Nintendo. That's good :)
- I'll sure comment on your editor review :) I've probably said a lot of what I would normally say already but I'll give it a go :)
- Cheers- CattleGirl talk 10:11, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- Boy, am I getting bored waiting for my approval on VPRF. Right now I'm using Huggle, which is actucally freakin' amazing, but I also want VPRF for means of comparison
- By the way, what's it like being an admin? Two One Six Five Five τ ʃ 21:54, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- PS: What is generally an acceptable level of experience in terms of edit counts and policies to RfA? Two One Six Five Five τ ʃ 23:52, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- Hi :)
- I miss Wikipedia! I've hardly had any time to work on it since the new academic year, and aargh.
- Anyway ;)
- I think I was waiting for a while for Vproof as well... it's worth the wait though. Occasional bugs, but it's worth it.
- But I just looked up Huggle, it looks pretty good (both aesthetic-wise and function wise...)
- Being an admin? I know it's cliched, but it really is just as normal. Like, there's the time just after you're promoted where you're sort of scrambling, but other than that it's the usual routine. And also, it's weird to look at my edit count- because the deletions don't show up on it, and they're what I like to focus on! But other than that, really, it's just as per usual with a few more tools for the job, and it's also easier to help people out.
- I base my !vote in an RFA case-to-case. For instance, usually I'd like about 1000 mainspace edits, and a few months at least on the Wikipedia, but that can vary. Because like me, there are some that really can't be bothered to do the actual article editing! I'm sorry, that sounds bad... but what I mean is that I take much more pride in behind-the-scenes editing than working on the actual articles- although, that of course can be fun too! :P
- Policy-wise, it's usually fairly obvious through your contributions whether you know enough policy to get you by. Even know I'm usually looking up a few policy pages every day, even if just to check what to do, or how to do things. But since you're looking at adminship, I think it's a really good idea for you to look at the Help Desk or 'adopting' a user yourself. Even though at first it can be a bit harder to answer questions and help people out, after just a little while you find you know heaps more, and it's worth it.
- I think that's about it! Hopefully I'll get some time to go on Wikipedia tonight. Cheers- CattleGirl talk 09:25, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

I was clearing out my watchlist because its set to watch every page I edit, and I remember responding to a {{helpme}} request a while ago. Anyways, I was snooping around your userpage and found the barnstar. So thanks for giving me my first! -- Matthew | talk | Contribs 21:08, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Re:WDEFCON
I usually know if I've been reverting vandalism for maybe 10-20 minutes and I'm able to tell whether there's a ton of vandalism or not so much. Then, if you want to change it, just go to Template:Vandalism information (shortcuts WP:VINFO, WP:DEFCON) and change the "info", "sign", and "level" to the new values. jj137 (talk) 22:59, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you! —slakr\ talk / 17:15, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

Re:Rollback
Hold on, you mean rollback isn't working? jj137 (talk) 17:48, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
- Rollback is separate from Twinkle. If you click on a diff that doesn't have any edits after it or you look at the top edit on a history page, you'll see a [rollback] button to the right of the name of the person who made the edit. jj137 (talk) 19:51, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Michelle Obama, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. You reverted a vandalism reversion. I assume this was a mistake. Loonymonkey (talk) 21:18, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
- No problem. (And sorry to use an automated template message. I realize you're an experienced editor, I was just being lazy). --Loonymonkey (talk) 21:22, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
- To answer your other question, the (now permanently blocked) vandal NordicDelight vandalized the page by changing the religion to "Church of Satan." 75.196.85.80 removed the vandalism and you reverted that edit (restoring the vandalism). This was clearly an accident (as you certainly don't seem to be a vandal). No big deal. Everything is back to normal.--Loonymonkey (talk) 21:29, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
OK, I've removed your rollback. jj137 (talk) 19:03, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- You got your rollback removed? RC-0722 communicator/kills 19:24, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Don't worry
No, that's not what I meant. I guess I wasn't clear. Some vandal has been committing vandalism on Republican Party (United States) presidential debates, 2008. I have been reverting his vandalism for some time, with occasional help from others who drop by. Yesterday, I saw that he had been at it again, and you had reverted it a number of times. Thanks! So my comment was meant to be a commendation, not a criticism. Keep up the good work.
Incidentally, you seem to be more of an expert on Wikipedia than I am. What would you recommend now for the situation. The vandal has an IP address that changes quite frequently. He keeps changing the order of the candidates in the above mentioned article. Blocking him would probably not do much good. And he won't talk. Despite my messages to him on his talk pages and in hidden text in the article (the latter of which he deletes), he hasn't said anything.
Thanks! JBFrenchhorn (talk) 06:28, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
That sounds good. I thought of that earlier. But I didn't do anything about it. I've never requested semi-protection before. Thanks for your help. JBFrenchhorn (talk) 19:23, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Not constructive?
Hello. I do not see how my removal of an improperly cited paragraph is nonconstructive. Please tell me how it was in the first place, since the source does not even say the 57% statistic. 76.198.148.26 (talk) 00:10, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
