[edit] Hello?

Wow, you guys are quick. I was just testing things out. I've been here many times and have never seen the stub that allows me to edit like that at the bottom of the page. I've never actually thought about editing anything on any of these pages until today. How do you know if someone has entered correct information to an entry or not?

There are automated bots that check through Wikipedia and automatically revert test edits, vandalism, blankings, et cetera. I (I'm not a bot) check around different pages' history sections and use the Recent Changes page to help spot what the bots don't--so we have our ways. Just remember that in the sandbox you can test without any trouble following you. Nevertheless, enjoy yourself here and don't save those test edits next time. C. Foultz 20:51, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

Your recent edit to Teleperformance (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. If the bot reverted a legitimate edit, please accept my humble creator's apologies – if you bring it to the attention of the bot's owner, we may be able to improve its behavior. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hrs in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for vandalism. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. GDonato (talk) 19:27, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Massive Number of Users

At the time of this writing, this IP address is for a center that houses several hundred computers. Further, Wikipedia is one of the few sites *not* blocked from within said center. As a result... yeah. You might want to extend that ban by an order of magnitude or two. A few hundred bored people with nothing but 'kipedia access are going to be trouble. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bahustard (talk • contribs) 20:40, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Faith Hill. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. ÐeadΣyeДrrow (Talk|Contribs) 07:50, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

This is the only warning you will receive. Your recent vandalism, as you did to Goatse.cx, will not be tolerated. Although vandalizing articles on occasions that are days or weeks apart from each other sometimes prevents editors from being blocked, your continued vandalism constitutes a long term pattern of abuse. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Kurt Shaped Box 08:49, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 21:59, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
