[edit] January 2007

Hi, I'm just wondering, shouldn't this IP be indefinitely blocked? Since this IP is used by our whole school, it's probably going to be used for vandalism for pretty much forever, as a number of our students are unwilling to edit Wikipedia productively. I figure that although they may eventually become positive contributors, new students coming in annually will always bring a share of some vandals. Thanks for hearing me out, as I'm unaware of policies regarding shared IPs like this. -- 216.100.91.2 17:46, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

We have a policy of not block IP addresses indefinitely unless they are open proxies. --Nlu (talk) 17:55, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Ah, I see. Thanks for responding to my query. -- 216.100.91.2 18:00, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] August 2007

This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to History of the Los Angeles Lakers, you will be blocked from editing. Neranei (talk) 21:41, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

I have taken the unusual step of blocking this IP for 1 year, since it has been blocked for 6 months twice during the past year and continues to vandalize without any other contribution. Academic Challenger 21:57, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
