[edit] The Police

Surely policetour has superseded policefile given the band only announced it was reforming this year? I have no problem with the site on external links - but the official site should go in the info box. I wanted to tell you this and give you chance to respond before I revert again. ...adam... [edit] Regarding your edits to The Police

Please stop changing the web address in the article box. The policefile.com address has been superseded by policetour.com, as you have been told previously. ---Cathal 16:46, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Please stop adding inappropriate links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and will be removed. Thanks. Shadowbot 16:27, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Last warning

Since you linkspammed Thepolifile.com some 12 times on The Police and you don't seem to listen to warnings, I give you a last warning:

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing anyone from linking to them from any site that uses the MediaWiki spam blacklist, which includes all of Wikimedia and Wikipedia. [edit] November 2007

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Spice Girls. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. --Oxymoron83 09:43, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
