Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. The links you added to the page Business Process Management have been removed. Please do not add commercial links—or links to your own private websites—to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. --AbsolutDan (talk) 18:04, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- Hello - in response to your message on my talk page [1], I removed the link you added for a couple reasons. One, the links don't serve as a citation for any of the content in the article. Wikipedia is in need of more content, not more external links. Also, although it is neutral organization, the site apparently requires payment (membership) in order to view the relevant content. Links of this sort should be avoided per WP:EL (external links guidelines). As you are affiliated with the BPM-Forum, you also shouldn't add links to the site yourself, which is also covered in WP:EL.
- I hope this answers your questions. Please let me know if you have any more --AbsolutDan (talk) 13:01, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
