So its OK for wikipedia to link to a manufacturer of the 350Z, Nissan, whose profits run into billions of dollars per year, but a link to a resource that is provided for free, and actually costs me over $200 per year to maintain, is considered advertising.

Your logic is completely pathetic.

I have spent hundreds of hours putting the site together, and there are almost 2000 people who have helped turn this into a massive FREE resource for anyone interested in the 350Z, yet you consider me lining to it on here, "advertising".

The 350Z information on wikipedia is tiny in comparison to what is offered on 350z-uk.com and it is offered there free from any charges what so ever.

Please explain why a company such as Nissan who make billions can be linked to, but not a charitale resource? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 212.50.178.217 (talkcontribs).

Please read the links I gave you above. Your edit clearly fails under our conflict of intertes guidelines. It also fails our external links and spam guidelines. In articles about products its appropriate to link to the official product website, even if the manufacturer makes a profit.
Please avoid making personal attacks on other editors, by the way. Gwernol 03:52, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

As you see fit to allow the 350z-tech site, then I have added the UK equivalent site for refference.

The 350z-tech site is almost exactly the same site as the UK one, but differs in that it adresses parts, costs and installation guides etc for American vehicles (eg in dollars and for left hand drive). The UK site has information more directed to right hand drive and Euro or GBP currency costs for owners.

I trust this is now acceptable?
