I deleted the link to get back at having my own FTO website constantly deleted for no reason plus the URL of the owners club which I help run. The only link ever left is so somebody can make commercial gain rather then like myself provide genuine info.
Tell me how that is correct? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 212.159.69.126 (talkcontribs) 22:22, March 31, 2007.
As per WP:NOT, "Wikipedia is not a mirror or a repository of links". Further, at Wikipedia:external links, links to normally be avoided include "Links mainly intended to promote a website" and "Links to blogs and personal web pages". Since you have already stated that one site is a personal blog, and one is a site you actively maintain, I will continue to remove the links you are inserting. It is simply a matter of WP policy being enforced.
The only link ever left is one to a site which has extensive specifications, which serves to verify the information in the infobox, as per Wikipedia:Verifiability. --DeLarge 13:31, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

There is as much infomation regarding spec etc if not more on my site than the link that is left. Is not the whole concept of wikipedia to provide as much info as possible, wether it be via directly on the page or via external links, do you not feel that you are preventing current owners and potential owners from finding as much info as possible, the FTO owners community in the UK is relatively small so as time goes by it will need as much support and info avaible otherwise it will simply fade away into history, do you think this is a good idea?

Might I also add that the one external link you are leaving is using copyright images that are owned by the former owners of both the cars shown and not by the person using them on their site.

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Mitsubishi FTO. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.
Please read the above links provided for you. "Wikipedia is not a mirror or a repository of links"; avoid "links mainly intended to promote a website" and "links to blogs and personal web pages" --DeLarge 07:40, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ainsley Harriott

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the Ainsley Harriott page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. --Steve (Stephen) talk 23:03, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
