Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent contribution removed content from All_India_Institute_of_Medical_Sciences. Please be more careful when editing articles and do not remove content from Wikipedia without a good reason, which should be specified in the edit summary. - Jus thought I'd add this note to editors who might come across this page. The above was a warning which was given by me earlier since I thought it was a vandal edit. However, it appears that I've erred and that the user seems to have been acting in GF. Hence, I've struck out the vandalism warning. And to the user, I'm really sorry that I issued this warning. aJCfreak yAkBaK 09:25, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] AIIMS Verifiability
Verifiability of content on Wikipedia are according to these guidelines. Please note that truth is not the important issue here. Wikipedia being an encyclopedia, has to have content which is verified in trusted printed sources. The Hindu is one of our nation's leading newspapers and hence it is a source which cannot be considered as verified. Please understand that I mean your Institution or its leaders any harm. I came across the article while patrolling recent changes and saw that quite a bit of content had been blanked out without explanation on the talk pages. As you may well find, I then spent a good deal of time cleaning up the <ref> links and commenting out entire sections which were extremely damaging to the image of the institution and other persons involved. Further, when a newspaper publishes the report of a Special Enquiry committee setup by the Government of India, then it definitely falls under the category of reliable sources.
I mean you no harm. However, if you feel that I am editing the content of this page in a wrong manner, I would be glad if you could let me know as to the exact specific points where I have made mistakes. I am learning, myself. Add to that the fact that I am human, I do make mistakes now and then. I trust you take this in the right spirit! In the future, if I feel any content that you add/subtract from the AIIMS article violates the guidelines of Wikipedia, then I will go ahead and edit it. This is, after all, Wikipedia. Cheers! aJCfreak yAkBAk 18:32, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
- To add to the above, if you feel that the article can be better written in a format suitable for an Encyclopedia, please go ahead... Jump in and completely revise the article! This is what Wikipedia's all about, I guess. Cheers, again! aJCfreak yAkBAk 18:48, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

- Hey, thanks for the detailed reply. Jus logged in today, will definitely go through it and see what I can do. But please understand that if there is something that you think could be written in a better way, you are completely free to go ahead and edit it!!! This is Wikipedia.... :) Have fun. aJCfreak yAkBaK 09:20, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Legal threat
Hey, please do not remove the content from my page. If you so wish to nullify what you said earlier, you might place <strike> ... </strike> before and after your comments so that they appear to have been struck out. I prefer to keep what you said. Don't worry - I'm harmless. I'm not gonna use it against you. But I'd rather like to keep it. So please leave it.... And btw, might interest you to know that I'm spending considerable amount of time trying to bring the AIIMS article up-to-date. Adios, for now. aJCfreak yAkBaK 18:35, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] A note of thanks!
Hey, thanks for keeping an eye out for the AIIMS article. Apparently, there's one person who's constantly vandalising it with nonsensical content and I see that you've reverted him as often as possible. Thanks! Keep on wiki-rockin!!! aJCfreak yAkBaK 11:44, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
