Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments. Such edits are disruptive and appear to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Your edit to my talk page could be construed as vandalism, especially if you are not the user who originally posted it there. And if you are that user, you should not edit under both your user name and your IP address because that could be interpreted as an attempt at sockpuppetry, especially when you are engaged in edit disputes and have violated the WP:3RR policy if you're that person. [edit] Your revert of my edit to Kevin Sydney
Hi, I noticed you reverted my edit on this article in which I bolded the words "Kevin Sydney" at the beginning. I just thought I'd inform you that article conventions dictate that the subject of all articles as well as words and terms that could be alternate article titles should be bolded in the opening.
I've edited the article again to bold the words and I'd like to ask you not to revert this edit again. :) Stephen Day (talk) 21:05, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
- Hello again. Please stop reverting this simple edit.
- The bolding of the subject of the article is part of the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. Stephen Day (talk) 02:21, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Cut/Paste move
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently copied the contents of a page and pasted it into another with a different name. Specifically, on Jan 28 2008 you copied the contents of Morph (comics) and pasted it into Morph (Marvel Comics). This is what we call a "cut and paste move", and it is very undesirable because it splits the article's history, which is needed for attribution and is helpful in many other ways. The mechanism we use for renaming an article is to move it to a new name which both preserves the page's history and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. In most cases, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. If there is an article that you cannot move yourself by this process, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves to request the move by another. Also, if there are any other articles that you copied and pasted, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. .
