20th Avenue is an unrenovated local station on the BMT Sea Beach Line of the New York City Subway, located in Brooklyn at the intersection of 20th Avenue and 64th Street. The exit is at the south end and the station house is stucco and tile with a crossover. Platforms have some non-working old lights and 1960s time warp benches.
As of late 2006, construction has begun on the 20th Avenue overpass to replace the old overpass built in 1915. The northern side of the overpass will be restored first and will be immediately followed by the restoration of the southern side of the overpass. The will allow traffic to continue to flow on 20th Avenue during the rehabilitation.
