[edit] Invitation
I'd like to invite the anonymous editor(s) at Trent University who is currently in the process of attempting to add material to the Chatham-Kent, Ontario article to come to the discussion page of that article and engage in a dialog regarding the reasoning behind their choice of potential sites to link to. Personally, I'd like to have a response to the questions I posted there. If you're truly interested in providing responsible "alternative" points of view to what's currently being offered there, wouldn't it be more effective to try and reach a compromise in terms of your choice of sources? At minimum that way, at least some of your perspective gains a chance to be 'heard'. I have to forewarn you though, personally in the context of Wikipedia, I'm unprepared to support "extremes" in material at either end of the traditional political spectrum. That's not what an encyclopedia (of any sort) is about, an encyclopedia's job to to reflect a cross section of mainstream thought, it's not a "soapbox". It seems to me that attempting to take the path of 'only my way or nothing at all' seems somewhat counter to what I think you're purporting to try and do here. cheers Deconstructhis (talk) 20:46, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
