[edit] Your recent comment on Talk:Al-KhwarizmiHi, today you made an edit which I think it would be fair to say is very partisan, and indeed racist. You say that "It is a well known fact, supported by all historians, that the Arabs, in all the lands they conquered, erquired that everyone convert to Islam [by force] and to only speak Arabic [by force]." It is of course true that many invaders attempt to convert the local people by force, but that isn't really how you phrased it. It's as if Arabs, uniquely among all ethnic groups, had offended the natural order. You went on: "It is also a fact taht the Arabs MASSACERED many people, in their [genocide] against everything that wasn't Arabic. The Arab invasions Arabised North Africa, Egypt, Syria, Israel, etc... All by force!" One might complain as volubly about the Alexandrine Greeks, the Romans, and the Crusaders, but really what's the point? Is it because there are people in the forums you frequent who are sensitive to attacks on Arabs and may be offended by your jibes? This is an encyclopedia. We're there to document all of the things that you speak about, without exception, as factually as possible using reliable references. So don't tell us, show us. But please, let the facts speak for themselves. Do not go out of your way to make polemical attacks again. They are unnecessary and they suggest to my mind that you are not here to write an encyclopedia so much as to say offensive things about Arabs. Pleaae prove me wrong. I make no apology for describing your comments as inflammatory, grossly uncivil, unconducive to sensible discussion, and beyond doubt unacceptable in their tone for Wikipedia. I beg you to rethink this message. Meanwhile I shall delete it from the page (if someone hasn't already done so). --Tony Sidaway 00:35, 7 March 2006 (UTC) [edit] Your edits to HamburgerThanks for experimenting with the page Hamburger on Wikipedia.
