[edit] Content disputes are not vandalism

Please consider the historical facts regarding Western Airlines. Note that the merger of the WORKFORCE did not happen until 4/1/87 but the acquistion of WA by DL was done over 4 months before that and this fact is confirmed (references noted) by US SUpreme Court. Actually the WA/DL was only a merger in the conversational sense. Legally, it was DL acquiring WA. Legally, a merger is when 2 companies form a new company and the new company owns both airlines stock. As a compromise, I have not put a bullet next to Western Airlines and even wrote concilitory language such as "As a historical note...." TL500 18:28, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Content disputes are not vandalism - I suggest you guys assume good faith and come to a compromise or an agreement. Cheers --Matt 01:32, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Why would I compromise on something thats wrong? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 208.63.196.223 (talkcontribs).

You shouldn't - wikipedia isn't a democracy and the truth should be in the articles. But if two editors disagree, it's not vandalism - it's a content dispute. Accusing the other editor of vandalism isn't going to make him want to see it your way. I'm pretty sure he means well. --Matt 15:11, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
