I had to revert your edit to Slayer, because what you were saying was wrong. Slayer was greatly influenced by earlier hardcore punk. I agree that Slayer influenced metalcore to some degree, though, and even later hardcore and post-hardcore possibly. Blizzard Beast $ODIN$ 17:41, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
