Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to User:Hholt01. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.
[edit] Pittsburgh
Please do not indiscriminately add Image:Flag of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.png to Pittsburgh-related articles. It is unrecognisable to most people at 25px, and often adds little value to an article. Please read Wikipedia:Don't overuse flags for a general discussion of why flag icons are not always suitable. — mholland (talk) 18:52, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
- Didn't realize that, thanks for the tip! I'll use flags a bit more conservatively and not on bio pages.

[edit] Welcome
Welcome
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, such as the one you made in Death Note. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but you may wish to create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits. For one thing, if you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.
In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome! | | This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
