[edit] Wikipedia:Ownership of articles
Hello and welcome!
I saw this edit you made to AstraZeneca where you removed some information and where you explained that the information is rude and that the article about the company belongs to the company (your words were if they removed it from their own wikipedia page, so be it, its theirs). The policy that I provided a link to in the title of this section will give you some answers as to why AstraZeneca does not own this article and why no one owns any articles on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is based on the principle of notability and verifiability so if a topic is both notable and verifiable, it can be included regardless of how rude it may seem to some. Also, Wikipedia does not censor. Take a look at Talk:Muhammad/FAQ, which deals with a controversial subject of displaying images of Muhammad, to see why those images will not be removed regardless of how rude someone might think they are.
I restored the section you deleted. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions.
Thanks for your time. SWik78 (talk) 20:11, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] June 2008
Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Alice Palmer (Illinois politician) has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks.
