[edit] Your edits on Illinois Fighting Illini
Instead of starting an edit war, I invite you to discuss the issues at hand on the talk page. -- Upholder 19:30, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Illinois Fighting Illini, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Upholder 14:33, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
- Three items:
-
- When leaving comments for a user, please use their Talk page, not their user page, as you did when leaving me a comment. I have removed it from my user page.
- Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Illinois Fighting Illini. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.
- You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Illinois Fighting Illini. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. Thank you.

You apparently have a close connection to Indiana University (as demonstrated by your edit history). Because Indiana University is a rivial of Illinois Fighting Illini and because comments you have left on the talk page demonstrate a lack of a neutral point of view concerning Illinois Fighting Illini, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the attitude of the editor toward the subject, are strongly discouraged. Please Stop. For more details, please read the Conflict of Interest guideline. Edits in violation of wikipedia policy can cause you to be blocked from editing. This is your final warning. Thank you. -- Upholder 15:02, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Deleting comments on your talk page

[edit] signatures
Hi! Just letting you know, four tildes (~~~~) puts a signature and date on your talk page posts. It's good etiquette to sign your posts even if you're unregistered. — Demong talk 06:05, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. -- tariqabjotu 00:00, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Regarding your comment on my talk page

[edit] Results of Checkuser
You should be aware that Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Nreuhs has proven that you are the same editor as User:Nreuhs, User:72.66.51.129, and User:72.83.186.250.
Official Wikipedia policy at WP:SOCK says:
Do not use multiple accounts to create the illusion of greater support for an issue, to mislead others, or to circumvent a block.
Doing so as you did here as Nreuhs after your edit as 207.114.16.210 is in violation of that policy. This is your only warning and further violations of WP:SOCK could result in an indefinite ban. -- Upholder 15:37, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
